PENSO is a system of scanner masks that permits scanning of various formats of film: 127, 110 (16mm), Minox (9,2mm), and 135 + 126 with sprocket holes.
It consists of a tray that engages with the frame of Epson Perfection V700 and V750 and has a magnet hook that keeps the other masks attached and aligned to it.
Every film mask has male/female hooks to chain the masks together. The top and bottom parts of each film mask are coupled by magnets that keep the film flat and at the correct distance from the scanner’s glass. If your scanner is not Epson you can just use the masks without the tray.
You can order the single elements you need by composing your scanner kit: click the ADD checkbox below the items and choose quantity for each.
PENSO is an Italian word that means “to think” and also is the anagram of EPSON. Pretty cool, ah?
